Special Measures for Parish Council Meetings

  • The Parish Council will provide hand sanitiser for use before entering the building and on leaving
  • The Parish Council will keep a record of anyone attending the meeting, asking public to sign in on arrival and will keep the list for 21 days.
  • The Parish Council will provide a one-way system through the building and arrange the seating so that people are, where possible, not sat face to face
  • Please maintain at least two metres or one metre plus with adjustments when you are in the building
  • There will be a maximum number of people allowed in the room at any time
  • When you arrive please move straight to your seat and do not gather to talk/chat with others.
  • If distance provides, Parish Council members may remove their masks during a meeting whilst seated. The public may be asked to wear a mask throughout the meeting unless addressing the council.
  • Please bring your own drinks. No eating will be allowed.
  • The Parish Council would like to encourage anyone attending the meeting to take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) test before attending the meeting.
  • Anyone displaying symptoms, tested positive, returned from abroad in last 14 days etc should not attend the meeting
  • All paperwork will be circulated in advance of the meeting.
  • Please bring your own writing materials which must be removed at the end of the meeting.
