Action Fraud has seen a surge in reports relating to fake emails and texts purporting to be from DPD. The messages claim that DPD was "unable to deliver your parcel today" and provide instructions on how the recipient can arrange another delivery. The links in the emails and texts lead to fake websites that are designed to steal money, as well as personal and financial information.

Brimscombe Hill will be closed from 18th January until 20th January 2021 for road surface repairs. The closure will stretch from the junction with the A419 London Road up to the junction with the Cirencester Road at Tom Long's Post. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

From 12th January 2021 to 31st March there will be a rolling programme of works in the district, affecting these roads in the parish at some point during this period. Use of the road will be unrestricted, but there may be temporary traffic controls.

Quarhouse Lane is going to be closed at the bottom of the hill near the junction with Bourne Lane from 23rd February 2021 to 25th February 2021 inclusive. This is to allow works by Severn Trent Water.
The published diversion is along to Bourneside and up Dark Lane. If you're feeling brave!

Sadly, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the normal Remembrance Sunday service and wreath laying at the War Memorial did not go ahead this year. A wreath was laid at the War Memorial on behalf of the residents of our parish, at 11am on the 8th November 2020.

The Stroud District Local Plan was adopted in November 2015 and sets out a planning strategy for distributing development within the District and policies for protecting and conserving the natural and built environment.
