Road Closure - Thrupp Lane

Thrupp Lane will be closed from 14th August to 15th September in order to allow trial drilling for a new drainage system. Emergency and Pedestrian access will be maintained, it is unclear at this stage how much vehicular access will be possible.

Road Closure - A419 London Road

The Highways Contractors will be re-surfacing the A419 from Stroud out to Aston Down, starting on 1st September until the end of the year. The work will be done with a series of overnight closures running from 19:00 to 07:00 most days. Advanced warning signs for specific locations will be put up nearer the time. There will be no parking or waiting permitted whilst the roads are closed.

Public Meeting - Wimberley Park

The developers of Wimberley Park are holding a public meeting to be held at the entrance to Wimberley Park to update anyone who is interested on the progress of the development on the site. This meeting is arranged for Thursday 8 June 2023 at 4:30 pm.

Road Closure - Thrupp Lane

Thrupp Lane will be closed from the London Road junction to the Claypits Lane junction for drainage works. The closure is scheduled for 2 phases:

1. From 19th to 23rd June 2023

2. From 14th August to 15th September 2023

Road Closure - A419 London Road

The entire stretch of the A419 will be closed overnight (19:00 to 06:00) from the 27th to the 31st for "Signing and Lining".

Emergency and Pedestrian access will be maintained, alternative routes will be "As signed on site".
