Road Closure - Nether Lypiatt Manor

The lane that runs from the bottom side of Nether Lypiatt Manor down though Mackhouse Woods is to be closed from the 4th to the 6th of October to allow Gigaclear to do their thing. It will be completely blocked with no pedestrian or emergency access. You will still be able to get from Quarhouse Lane through to Claypits Lane and Lypiatt.

Road Closure - London Road

The County Council has approved a set of road closures in the district, most notably for us the London Road from the Waitrose roundabout to the roundabout at the top of Cowcombe Hill.

The closures will take the form of temporary restrictions (from 09:30 to 15:30) in sections order to permit tree felling due to ash dieback disease, and will last from 1st July to 31st October.

Road Closure - Thrupp Lane

Important Note: This work has been brought forward to 11th June. It's now classified as an 'Urgent Closure', so presumably something has gone unexpectedly wrong.

Thrupp Lane is going to be closed for a couple of days, from the 11th to the 13th August. It's so that Severn Trent Water can do some work.

Road Closure - Brimscombe Hill

Brimscombe Hill is going to be closed from 14th June to the 14th August so that they can fix the collapsed wall. The length of the closure will be about 60 metres

Pedestrian access will be maintained, but there will be no emergency access as they'll be digging up the whole width of the road.

Road Closure - The Roundabouts

This is a long closure. The Roundabouts will be closed from the junction with Burleigh Lane to the junction with Spinney Court (128 metres) from 3rd June 2021 to 3rd December 2022

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
