Road Closure - A419 Chalford to Cirencester
The A419 will be closed overnight on 23rd June 2022, from 19:00 to 07:00 on the 24th from Cowcombe Hill roundabout to the Royal Agricultural university.
This is for stud removal prior to surface dressing, which will be done at a later date.

Stroud Hospital Minor Injuries Unit
The NHS is currently refitting the Minor Injuries and Illness Unit (MIIU) at Stroud General Hospital.
The unit is still open, but only for people with a booked appointment. It is not open for people to walk in without a booking.
If a visit is required, you can book by calling our Minor Injuries Unit line on 0300 421 7777 or by calling NHS 111.

Road Closure - Brewery Lane
Brewery Lane will be closed (again!) from the 4th to the 8th July for its entire length. This time it's to work on the sewers. Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained.

New Venue for Parish Council Meetings
From May 2022, Parish Council meetings will take place in The West Suite, Port Mill, Brimscombe, GL5 2QQ. This is the large old (listed) building on the port. A campaign group is being set up to campaign for changes to the national policies that are causing the increasing cases of poverty in Stroud District.
