Following the success of last two years, the Parish Council will once again be hosting a Party on the Playing Field. This year we are very pleased and proud to have gained some Arts Council funding to help us put on this event - thanks to the Party Working Group.
This year we Go with the Flow with our usual chilled vibe...
MAD ABOUT ART will be back in their BIG TENT for gorgeous arty-crafty activities - WHIZZPOPBANG children's science magazine will be doing weird and wonderful experiments - IMOGEN HARVEY-LEWIS needs your help to build her flocks - there will be sparkly-twinkly BIO FACE GLITTER glamour and TOADSTOOL TALES will be there with their gorgeous characters...
Delicious Food and Drink on the Field this year from: STROUD BREWERY - WHEN IN ROME - NONI'S COFFEE - JAMAICA INN KITCHEN - VELO PIZZA - FELT CAFE BBQ - SLAD VALLEY MUSHROOMS - POLLYS PARLOUR ICE CREAM - and of course plenty of mouth-watering home-baked CAKES
Live Music all day from: YETI'S BREAKFAST, SPIRACY, FIVE VALLEY SESSIONS, TAKING BACK WEDNESDAY, THE BOB PORTER BAND, pop choir SOME VOICESand THE LAST MINUTE BAND
Be wowed by the incredible HULA-HOOPING WONDER WOMAN, learn your fortune with a TAROT READER, take part in an AFRICAN DRUMMING SESSION, relax and listen to curious tales in the STORYTELLING TENT, join a YOGA session, create fabulous art alongside the very talented STUDIO 18 family and compete in the hilarious BRIMSCOMBE AND THRUPP OLYMPICS
